What is it

An immune system
out of balance.

Autoimmune diseases occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissues. Conventional treatment focuses on broad immunosuppression, calming the attack but leaving the underlying dysregulation untouched.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are immunomodulatory, not immunosuppressive. They help restore balance to overactive immune responses, supporting regulatory T cell function and calming chronic inflammation at its source.

SLE

A chronic condition where the immune system produces antibodies against the body's own tissues, affecting skin, joints, kidneys, and other organs. Multiple clinical trials have shown MSC transplantation can support refractory SLE cases, including lupus nephritis, with documented safety across long-term follow-up studies.

RA

A systemic autoimmune disorder that inflames the synovial membrane, causing chronic joint pain, cartilage damage, and progressive disability. MSCs have demonstrated both immunomodulatory and tissue-repairing properties in RA, targeting T cell proliferation and inflammatory cytokines whilst supporting cartilage regeneration.

MS

A neurological autoimmune condition where the immune system damages the myelin sheath protecting nerve fibres, disrupting communication between brain and body. MSC therapy supports immune modulation and has shown potential in promoting endogenous repair in clinical and preclinical studies.

IBD

Includes Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, where chronic immune-driven inflammation damages the gastrointestinal tract. MSC therapy supports tissue regeneration whilst suppressing inappropriate immune activity, and is particularly studied for complex perianal fistulas and refractory cases.

Intravenous MSC Infusion

Mesenchymal stem cells are delivered via IV infusion. This is the clinically validated delivery method used in the majority of published autoimmune disease trials, allowing cells to circulate and home to sites of active inflammation.
